Privacy Policy
Peacefulday ("we") respects the privacy of people who use the LED Banner app ("the app"). This policy explains what we collect and why.
1. Information we collect
| Information | When | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address, profile photo URL, account identifier (Google / Apple sign-in) | Only if you choose to sign in | Identify your account and sync across devices |
| Favorites and recent banners (text you typed and design settings), recent emojis, theme and brightness settings | Only while signed in | Cloud backup and restore on other devices |
| Advertising ID, device information, IP address, ad interactions | When ads are shown | Serving and measuring ads (Google AdMob) |
| Banners you share as a link (the text and design settings of that banner), plus a random identifier of this app install (not linked to your account or device) | Only when you tap Share | Keep share links short so anyone with the link can open the banner; let people who receive it block everything shared from the same install |
| Reports: the reason, the reported banner or show text (up to 300 characters), its link and the random identifier of the install that shared it | Only when you report content | Reviewing and removing objectionable content within 24 hours |
If you don't sign in, your text and settings stay on your phone only and are never sent to us — except a banner you choose to share as a link.
2. Device permissions
- Camera: only for scanning QR codes and blinking the camera flash with the beat. No photos or video are saved or sent.
- Microphone: only when the "sound reactive" effect is on; loudness is measured on the phone. Audio is never recorded, stored or sent.
- Photos: a photo you pick as a background stays on your phone and is not uploaded. GIFs you create are saved to your gallery.
3. Third-party services
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore): sign-in and sync storage. Data may be stored on servers in the United States.
- Google AdMob: ads. Users in the EEA, UK and similar regions are asked for consent first; on iOS you are asked whether to allow tracking. How Google uses data
- Sign in with Google / Sign in with Apple: verifying your account when you sign in
- Google Fonts: font files are downloaded the first time you choose a font (your IP address may be shared).
- NTP time servers (pool.ntp.org): used by the multi-phone feature to get an accurate time (your IP address may be shared).
We do not sell personal information.
4. Retention and deletion
Cloud data is kept until you delete your account. In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account to delete your account and cloud data immediately. See How to delete your account. Uninstalling the app removes data stored on the phone.
Banners shared as a link are not tied to you or your account, and anyone with the link can view them. Don’t put personal information in a banner you share. To have a shared banner removed, send us the link at the contact address below.
5. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your information at any time by contacting us below.
6. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
7. Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), and cloud data can only be read or written by the signed-in owner of the account.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with its effective date.
